At a time when more and more music is being generated entirely by artificial intelligence, I want to make my position clear: the music I release under the name patiba is 100 % written, produced, and performed by me.
Every track starts with an idea, a feeling, a moment – and is then built up step by step, by hand. I’ve played guitar since I was a kid, and that musical foundation flows into every production. In my studio, I work with MPK and MPE controllers in Ableton Live to shape sounds that express something real.
Music has always been my way of connecting with other people. It tells stories, carries emotions, and brings together people who would otherwise never have crossed paths. That’s something I don’t believe an AI generating songs at the push of a button can replace. It lacks lived experience, the detours through mistakes and chance, the moment a song suddenly “clicks” – everything that makes music feel alive.
So when you listen to my music, you’re not hearing an algorithm – you’re hearing real hours in the studio, real decisions, real emotions. That matters to me, and it’s not going to
change.
